Tiny Sick and Scared Dog had the strangest reaction when I snuck up to rescue him

A Chihuahua mix named Diesel was abandoned on the freeway by his spineless owner. The freeway was located between the river and the railroad tracks, but Diesel never wandered off from where he was dumped. He simply nestled himself in a pile of rubbish in the bushes and waited for his owner to return

Some travelers noticed Diesel sitting alone in the overgrowth. They quickly called the rescue group Hope For Paws for help. The rescuers rushed to the spot and assessed Diesel’s situation. They realized that the dog could bolt off to the busy freeway or disappear into the wilderness if they scared him. So they decided to sneak up on him with a net.

After his rescue and being fostered in a loving home, Diesel found his forever home with a family of animal lovers. Diesel is being doted on by his parents and grandparents, a doggie sister, 4 kitty friends, and 3 human siblings in his new home. Looks like this little darling has hit the jackpot!

In this video, we see a rescuer approaching Diesel with a net. But instead of panicking, the dog stares at the rescuers blankly and doesn’t even move a muscle. Even after the rescuers trap him in the net, Diesel remains unusually calm and lets the humans pet him!

Diesel’s odd behavior catches the rescuers off-guard, as they were fully expecting a chaotic rescue. While the poor pup was heavily distressed from his abandonment, he was glad to have a group of kind humans looking out for him again!
